I recently stayed at Highgrove Barns for a few days of walking in the beautiful Shropshire Hills. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and the accommodation was comfortable and well-appointed. The underfloor heating in the barn made it wonderfully cosy, and there were thoughtful touches like a welcome tray with homemade cakes and fresh flowers. The location was perfect, with easy access to the town facilities and plenty of walking options nearby. a fantastic base for exploring the area.

    I do recommend this hotel.

Great value for money and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was quiet and peaceful, away from the main road, but still close to amenities and National Trust gardens. The hosts provided a warm welcome and even gave us a mini-welcome pack with homemade buns. We loved the private garden area for relaxing after our walks.

The breakfast menu could have had a wider variety of options.

The hotel's interior decoration was tastefully done, with cozy furnishings and charming touches that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable ambiance. As a senior, I appreciated the easy accessibility throughout the hotel, making it convenient for me to move around without any difficulties.

I would have preferred to see more assistance from the staff's children, especially in terms of catering to the needs of senior guests.

We had a fantastic stay at Highgrove Barns Villa! the cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was in a superb location, just off the A49, which made exploring Shropshire and even Wales very convenient. There were amenities like a supermarket and pub just a short drive or walk away. the check-in process was contact-free but still welcoming, as Chris, the friendly owner, greeted us at a safe distance. the accommodation was warm, cosy, and even had cupcakes as a thoughtful gesture. This peaceful retreat was the perfect way to start the New Year. Cons: All good! 👍.

We had a lovely break in the beautiful countryside, surrounded by charming local villages. The barn conversion was cosy and comfortable, perfect for a romantic getaway. The off-road parking space was also a great convenience. We were pleasantly surprised by the mini-welcome pack with milk, tea, coffee, and homemade buns. The shower in the bathroom was spacious, ensuring a pleasant bathing experience. Though the kitchen/diner/living space was on the smaller side, it was well-designed, making good use of the available space. The clean and tidy property had a thoughtful touch with cupcakes on arrival. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Highgrove Barns for a peaceful retreat in the countryside.

From the underfloor heating that kept us cosy to the welcome tray with delicious homemade cakes, everything was thoughtfully prepared. The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep after a day of exploring the beautiful Shropshire Hills. The location was great for hiking, and we loved the private garden area for relaxing. Despite the flaky wifi, Highgrove Barns provided us with a wonderful base for our holiday. I highly recommend this accommodation for a memorable stay in the area.

Surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Plenty of fancy dining options nearby. The cottages have charming vaulted ceilings and a lovely patio area. Lots of historic castles and churches to explore. Cozy living area with a flat-screen TV and DVDs to entertain myself with.

Oh, just couldn't get enough of those breathtaking views of Wenlock Edge and Clee Hill. Truly a disappointment.

The location of this countryside retreat is absolutely perfect, offering a peaceful and serene environment for a relaxing break. With numerous National Trust gardens nearby, there is plenty to explore just a short distance away. the hosts provide a warm and welcoming experience, ensuring a safe and contact, free check, in process. the accommodation itself is warm, cosy and well, designed, offering a comfortable stay. the mini, welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and homemade buns is a thoughtful touch.

The bathroom in this cosy barn conversion is a bit on the smaller side, but the shower compensates with its above, average size.
